This course is aimed to Secondary School teachers, Teaching Assistants, Graduate Students, University Instructors, Language co-ordinators, those who wish to prepare for the DITALS teaching certificate, and whoever wants to develop a fresh approach to his/her own methods and techniques of teaching Italian as a Foreign Language. Emphasis will be given to the use of multimedia technologies in negotiating grammar and culture at different proficiency levels. Modeling a series of activities, the course will show how to approach and manipulate different texts (audio, video, images, written texts) in order to enhance the four basic communication skills and promote cultural competency. It will help the attendee to work collaboratively to plan out lessons and projects either on the side of the teacher or the students and to express their evaluation of the outcome.

COURSE: 25 hours.

COSTS: 500 euros. 7 scholarships of 400 euros each are available to the first seven Italian graduates and postgraduates who will register.
